CLEANSTAB® AS is used in modified alcohols to reduce the acidity of the solvent and to increase the pH value.
In this context, fine metal shavings from aluminium and other base metals pose a potential hazard.
Neutralisation residues and unused stabilising agent are removed via the oil / dirt discharge of the steam generator.
The material remains in the steam generator as it is not vapour-permeable. Therefore, it does not normally come into contact with the parts to be cleaned.
