Richard Geiss GmbH presents its new brand, its new safety container and its new mainstay in aqueous cleaning

Stuttgart/Offingen (jm).

Everything for efficient and sustainable cleaning of components and surfaces: this is what Richard Geiss GmbH offers, and the company will be showing its latest innovations and proven products at parts2clean in Stuttgart from 7 to 9 October. Special highlight at the stand (Hall 10, Stand C28): the solvent specialist presents a new, own brand. Also included is the new Varibox 250, a double-walled safety container for hydrocarbon solutions and modified alcohols. The Varibox 250 is particularly safe, flexible, 99 percent recyclable and even smart on request. The solvent specialist from Offingen (Bavaria) is also presenting the expansion of its portfolio in the aqueous sector.

“For parts2clean, we’ll be packing a few new products in our suitcase: we present our new brand, with which we will appear on the market in the future. Visitors are right to be curious. In addition, we will be presenting our new and sustainable safety container Varibox and we will be showing at the stand how we have expanded our competencies in the field of aqueous component cleaning,” explains Bastian Geiss, Managing Partner of Richard Geiss GmbH. “As the leading international trade fair for industrial parts and surface cleaning, parts2clean is the ideal platform for our three new innovations.”

New Varibox

Sustainable, safe, flexible and smart: this is the new Varibox 250 from Richard Geiss GmbH. Thanks to robust monomaterials, the new container from the solvent specialist in Offingen (Bavaria) is 99 percent recyclable. As a double-walled safety container for modified alcohols and hydrocarbon solutions, the new Varibox 250 guarantees safe transport and just as safe storage – without any safety drip trays. “The Varibox is the perfect addition to our product range. With our recyclates, we don’t just offer sustainable solvents, but also with the new Varibox, we have a suitable sustainable container for safe transport and practical storage,” emphasises Bastian Geiss.

Simple and practical to use

The blue Varibox contains only fresh material; the yellow one can be filled with old material. This optical separation is supported by a technical one, namely by means of different connections (3- or 4-pin coupling). With its dimensions of 600 x 800 x 1,200 mm, the Varibox 250 is particularly compact and can thus be stored in the smallest space. The Varibox 250 can be transported with forklift and pallet truck and stacked up to 522 kilograms on top of each other. Particularly smart: as a Connect variant, the Varibox 250 optionally enables mobile and digital monitoring.

Aqueous cleaning: another mainstay of Richard Geiss GmbH

Richard Geiss GmbH is also expanding its portfolio by integrating N2J CleanTech GmbH, a specialist for professional contract cleaning based in Leipheim (Bavaria). With this addition, Richard Geiss GmbH is expanding its expertise in the field of aqueous component cleaning as well as accompanying laboratory services for process and quality control. This strategic expansion forms the basis for close cooperation, which in future will open up a much wider range of services for customers in industrial cleaning. The customers of both companies benefit from customised solutions, combined expertise and holistic support – from the cleaning process to analytical protection in the in-house laboratory.

“With N2J CleanTech GmbH, we are acquiring a highly specialised partner in the field of aqueous cleaning. The combination of our competencies makes it possible to offer individual and future-proof cleaning solutions for a wide range of industries without losing the independence of the brands,” explains Bastian Geiss, Managing Partner of Richard Geiss GmbH and Managing Director of N2J CleanTech GmbH.

Sustainable solvents of the highest quality

For decades, Richard Geiss GmbH has been focussing on the sustainable approach to solvent recovery and recycling. The Bavarian family-owned company specialises in the treatment of solvents and their recycling into a functioning circulatory system. The distillates achieve 100 percent of the original product quality and prevent a lot of CO2 emissions. “In the case of our perchloroethylene GEISS PER, the CO2 saving is even around 90 percent compared to fresh material,” Bastian Geiss explains.

Whether high-quality solvent recyclates or fresh material, Geiss also relies on sustainability in its own energy management. The company works independently with just over one third of the heating energy required, for example for the distillation and processing of waste products. In terms of power supply, this figure is even 60 percent. Through heat recovery, renewable power sources and the “Waste to Energy” concept, Richard Geiss GmbH saves around 2,500 tons of CO2 per year. “Our sustainable energy management therefore also has a positive effect on the CO2 footprint of our solvents,” Geiss explains.

Contract cleaning

The Richard Geiss GmbH trade fair stand (Hall 10, Stand C28) will also focus on contract cleaning at the company headquarters in Offingen for the metalworking industries, such as automotive suppliers. Richard Geiss GmbH operates its own degreasing plants with high-purity recyclates, which correspond to 100 percent of the quality of the fresh product. Depending on the solvent, between 46 and 92 percent of CO2 emissions can be saved compared to the production of fresh material. Richard Geiss GmbH started providing the service of contract degreasing in 2012; in 2016, the new investment of over two million euros followed in an 800 m2 hall and a new high-end degreasing system. Since then, this new division has been booming so much that the company commissioned an additional parts cleaning system in 2019.

“With our all-round service for degreasing, we have hit the nail on the head. Customers can look forward to perfectly cleaned parts and absolute process reliability. We take care of the smooth process from A to Z”, explains Bastian Geiss.
