With its new brand, Richard Geiss GmbH from Offingen (Bavaria) is bringing all its services together as a leading solvents specialist – from the production and use all the way through to the professional disposal. The brand concept is based on the following four mainstays: supply, support, disposal and promise. With RG®4Chemicals, Richard Geiss GmbH is underscoring its commitment to offering customers tailored solutions from one single source from the very start. The focus on the new brand is also reflected by the new website
“Our top priority has always been to provide our customers with a holistic service and tailored solutions. As the only solvents manufacturer of its kind to do so in Europe, we offer everything from one single source: from the distillation and distribution of our products, to laboratory and consulting services, through to the professional disposal of waste materials. We now want to highlight this unique selling point even more clearly than before. This is exactly what RG®4Chemicals stands for,” explains Bastian Geiss, managing partner at Richard Geiss GmbH.
The brand in the foreground
The new brand has been consciously positioned in the foreground: “RG®4Chemicals is positioned before the company Richard Geiss,” emphasizes Bastian Geiss. The fact that the brand is nevertheless strongly linked to the company behind it is made clear by the full slogan “RG®4Chemicals connected by Geiss”.
The four mainstays of RG®4Chemicals
The four mainstays – supply, support, disposal and promise – are the cornerstones of Richard Geiss GmbH’s range of products services, and apply to the wide range of industries in which the company operates. These stretch from the chemical-pharmaceutical industry, surface cleaning and textile cleaning, through to dental cleaning and asphalt analysis.
Supply: the products
RG®4Chemicals supplies customers from a wide range of industries with high purity solvents and recyclates which are tailored to their specific practical requirements. For surface and textile cleaning, RG®4Chemicals offers solvents such as perchloroethylene (PER), modified alcohols and hydrocarbons as well as solvent care products. The chemical-pharmaceutical industry not only benefits from a wide range of solvents but also from contract distillation, which ensures supply and planning security. Customers in the fields of asphalt analysis and dental cleaning are also able to find suitable solvents and cleaning agents for their requirements at RG®4Chemicals. In the area of contract cleaning, Richard Geiss GmbH ensures flawlessly cleaned parts and an efficient, no-worries process.
Support: consulting, logistics and laboratory
“Our goal and motivation is to ensure our customers’ processes run on an optimal and reliable basis. We put our every effort into ensuring this is the case and are at our customers’ beck and call from the very start. We consider service to be holistic,” emphasizes Bastian Geiss. On this basis, RG®4Chemicals supports its customers in every stage of the solvent process: from the project planning and consulting through to the logistics and laboratory services.
The company’s in-house laboratory delivers accurate analytics to the highest quality standards and operates quickly, flexibly and reliably. Whether it is customer trials, service analyses, laboratory-scale trial distillations or compatibility tests, the laboratory specialists provide support with the wide-ranging challenges in cleaning practice. The company’s in-house vehicle fleet also ensures the safe, punctual and reliable transporting of solvents. “The fact that we offer all services from one single source and that everything converges at our location in Offingen makes us particularly flexible and able to respond just in time. Those are genuine advantages,” says Bastian Geiss.
Disposal: collection, recycling and processing
RG®4Chemicals also manages the entire disposal process, pursuing a holistic approach in this field as well. The solvents specialist collects used products and solvent waste directly from the customers, handles the recycling and processing into high-purity recyclates and performs customer-specific contract distillation operations. The company’s in-house vehicle fleet is then deployed for the collection. The processing of used products in the distillation columns at the Offingen site is the best recycling method for solvents according to the EU Waste Framework Directive and offers a CO2 savings potential of up to 90 percent.

Richard Geiss GmbH is certified as a specialist waste disposal company and guarantees a legally compliant and rapid waste collection service.
