Richard Geiss GmbH offers a new safety package for modified alcohols and hydrocarbons

Offingen (jm.)

Sustainable, safe, flexible and smart: this is the new Varibox 250 from Richard Geiss GmbH. Thanks to robust monomaterials, the new container from the solvent specialist in Offingen (Bavaria) is 99% recyclable. As a double-walled safety container for modified alcohols and hydrocarbon solutions, the new Varibox 250 guarantees safe transport and just as safe storage – with no need for safety collecting trays. Practical on site: the new Varibox 250 can be transported with forklift and pallet truck and stacked up to 522 kilograms on top of each other. Particularly smart: as a Connect variant, the Varibox 250 optionally enables mobile and digital monitoring.

“With the new Varibox, we complement our product portfolio perfectly and offer our customers a sustainable and particularly safe alternative to conventional IBCs. Our new packaging impresses with easy handling and safe storage of the solvents,” explains Bastian Geiss, Managing Partner of Richard Geiss GmbH.

99% recyclable
The Varibox 250 consists of sturdy monomaterials. The individual components of the sustainable container can be easily separated from each other, and up to 99% of the material can be recycled. Parts of the Varibox 250 are individually interchangeable. This not only saves valuable resources, but also the user’s wallet. Compared to conventional intermediate bulk containers (IBCs), the Varibox 250 has a significantly longer service life, on average up to ten years.

Unmistakable
Richard Geiss GmbH offers the Varibox 250 in two variants: one for fresh goods as a blue container and one for old goods as a yellow container. The visual separation of fresh and old goods is supported by a technical separation solution. The Varibox for fresh goods has a 3-pin coupling; the old goods container a 4-pin coupling. The optimum connection prevents mix-ups between fresh and old goods and incorrect filling. In addition, the closed system does not release emissions into the environment.

Compact and stackable
With its dimensions of 600 x 800 x 1,200 mm, the Varibox 250 is particularly compact and can thus be stored in the smallest space. Particularly practical for space-saving storage: the Varibox 250 can be stacked on top of each other up to a maximum load of 522 kilograms. On-site transportation is just as simple: the compact safety container can be moved and relocated with a forklift or pallet truck.

Smart container
The Varibox 250 is smart as a Connect variant. The optional mobile monitoring via the customer’s own dashboard gives the user access to all available data of their Variboxes, such as the location, temperature or filling level of the respective containers. “Through the dashboard, we can offer our customers our all-round service at a whole new level. We can, for example, forecast the date that the respective Varibox will be empty and organise a corresponding supply of fresh goods as a preventive measure,” emphasises Fabian Baur, Product Manager at Richard Geiss GmbH.

All-round service with our own fleet
At Richard Geiss GmbH, everything comes from a single source. The solvent specialist from Offingen takes over the transport of the solvents with the company’s own fleet – also in the new Varibox container. Richard Geiss GmbH delivers fresh goods to the customer and at the same time takes over the removal and disposal or processing of the old goods.
